Dr Rafaela Luque began her dental career in 2015 and has since developed a strong commitment to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, her journey to New Zealand reflects both her dedication to professional growth and her passion for delivering high-quality dentistry.
Dr Luque focuses on creating a calm and supportive environment, helping patients feel at ease while delivering safe, precise, and effective treatments. She is particularly committed to reducing dental anxiety and ensuring each patient has a positive and comfortable experience.
Outside of dentistry, Rafaela enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter. She values being close to her family in Christchurch and, when time allows, enjoys exploring new places and experiencing good food.

Dr.Ray Barakauskas
Ray brings decades of experience and a strong commitment to patient care. After graduating from dental school in Canada in 1976 and later becoming registered in New Zealand, he has continued to build his knowledge and skills throughout his career.
Ray is passionate about preventative dentistry and believes patients should feel informed and supported in taking control of their oral health. He is committed to providing careful, up-to-date treatment in a calm and professional environment.

My position here at Northcote Dental Clinic entails meeting and greeting all our clients and anyone else visiting the practice either in person or on the telephone. It is my responsibility to ensure the practice's day to day running goes smoothly to benefit all involved.
Outside of work Rosemarie loves to spend time with her family and enjoys travelling, both locally and internationally, when able.

Sharni Case
Sharni is a friendly and experienced dental assistant with over five years of hands-on experience in dentistry. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their dental care journey. With a calm and caring approach, Sharni takes pride in providing gentle chairside support, explaining procedures clearly, and helping create a relaxed and reassuring experience for every patient.
Outside of work, Sharni is a proud mum of two daughters and enjoys spending time with her family, riding motorbikes, working out, and cooking together.
